I can record my DAW session with Camtasia but the audio is stuttering all the time so that it is impossible to work with. Shouldn´t the audio signal from my DAW be routed to the windows sound system?!. Delete the video that was separated, and then you'll have a fully-functional audio file that won't jump around. Add it wherever you want it in the timeline, then select it (click on it) then right click on it, and click on separate audio and video. Expand the Sound, video and game controllers category, and then right-click Realtek HD Audio driver and select Properties. Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager from the context menu. This worked (thanks to see post #4!!) and finally, the Camtasia recorder got the audio signal from my DAW.īut I´m still not sure if that is the proper way to be honest. When it's done, go back to your original project and import the file you just made. To fix it, you can try rolling back, or updating, or reinstalling the audio driver. I contacted Techsmith and while I was waiting for their reply, I checked again all my Windows settings and gave the permission to activate the Microphone. Thanks! I´m looking forward to your post. I know Camtasia has some great tools to make a demonstration, like arrows, pop ups etc, I will try to figure out how sounds input works, and share with you ASAP. I want to be able to connect external speakers but so far. The internal speakers are not very good and kind of rattle when the volume is increased even at the 75 mark or so. Few days before this post, I've purchased an UFX+ and Elgato Cam link pro(Video capture card), I was trying to make some video, but struggling with Inputs issue, when I've figured out finally, I saw your post, then I've installed Camtasia to see if it fits the same method, but no luck, so I preferred OBS. It has two HDMI inputs, composite inputs, and one labeled output 'audio out' red and white rca connection. By default the input settings should be set to record from the. You're welcome, I knew Camtasia and used it for awhile, but that was several years ago, then I've got a chance to use OBS, it was opened my eyes. Make sure your system settings for sound input havent somehow gotten changed from their default.
